An exploration in drum synthesis on iOS using the feedback modules in Drambo. In the dub techno style, the constructed kit keeps a solid 4-on-the-floor played by a series of Euclidean sequencers. A second voice from the FRMS granular synth adds texture and harmonic interest. The FRMS factory preset 'Calming Reflection' was put through a trance gate built in Drambo and the FAC Alteza (Hypnotic Amnesia) reverb. Performance consisted of bringing the voices in and out, morphing between a number of p-locked parameters on the tom, adjusting delay on the snare, switching between patterns for the FRMS part, and tweaking the amount of trance gate - all controlled by the Launch Control XL. Recorded to a single stereo track in 4Pockets Multitrack running inside of Drambo. Mastered in T-Racks.
